For over 20 years, we’ve been a place of safety, love, and restoration for children who need it most. Nestled in the peaceful KwaNyuswa Valley, our village is more than a home—it’s family.

Family is at the Heart of everything we do
Family Homes – Small groups of children with loving caregivers.
Education Focus – Children attend quality schools nearby.
Faith-Based – Christ-centered love and guidance.
Community – Local staff, volunteers, and churches working together.
We believe God places the lonely in families (Psalm 68:6). iKhethelo is a home where children encounter love, belonging, and a future filled with hope.

Meet the Team
Graeme & Tami Wright – CEO’s
Graeme and Tami Wright, both teachers by profession, began volunteering at iKhethelo in 2011 after returning from the UK, where they led a vibrant children’s ministry in London. In 2016, they stepped into leadership at iKhethelo Children’s Village. Their deep love for children and passion for education have helped shape the lives of many young people, empowering them to grow, thrive, and build successful futures beyond the village.
